FTW Mekoro Duck Diver

Nora is our 2^nd generation home bred bitch. She is extremely fast and driven with a keen nose and a great marking ability. Athletic & strong in build, with a true Labrador temperament, Nora is a wonderful, kind bitch to have at home and around the children but then becomes a powerhouse of a dog out in the field! 

She is happy to be handled by Sinead & James, she very much enjoys being his peg dog, and even takes instructions (sometimes!) from the children!  

Nora has produced field trial and working test winners and award winners. Her litter brother is a Field Trial Champion (Mekoro Shot Marker of Waterford) who qualified for the 2025 IGL Retriever Championships.

Alongside this, she is producing low hip and elbow scores with at least 3 puppies scored at 0:0 hips and 0:0 elbows and sired by 2 different dogs. 

Nora retired from breeding and trialling in 2025. Yet she is a key asset in our picking up team and hugely enjoys being James’s top peg dog, so I am sure she will enjoy her retirement!
