Mekoro Keep the Wolves Close (Rip), is a handsome, nicely built black dog, 13months old. He is looking for potentially a working pet home, ideally as a peg dog, I am not looking for him to be kept as part of a picking up team. He is an absolute gentleman, very kind, soft-natured and has plenty of drive and natural ability. He has been brought up around other dogs and children, he is very much part of the family even though he is kennelled outside. He is a clean dog, very quiet, no vices in training. He has had the basic level of training for his age, he is steady to dummies & shot (at present and in the environments I have accustomed him too). He walks at heel nicely both on his own and when out with all the dogs. His stop whistle ranges to around 30yards at present, but is coming along well. He is a natural pleaser and so does very well with reward-based training, he is not a head-strong or arrogant dog. He is looking for a calm, quiet handler providing a forever home, would also suit a Lady Gun. Genuine reason for sale.
