Leo is an extremely biddable dog, with a lot of natural ability. He has proved himself to be a very natural game finder, with a great stylish hunting ability. However, marking is definitely his most advantageous asset, he will mark to the absolute leaf of the fall! He is 100% trustworthy with a calm personality, but when sent out on a retrieve he has the power and speed that is slightly unexpected! Leo takes handling at distance with ease, he was and still is the most easy to train dog I have ever had, a trait which is being seen in many of his offspring, some of which have won both Novice and Open Trials & Tests.
Leo is retired from Stud, but he is our much loved dog and so resides in our family home, babysitting our two boys and teaching the young pups how to behave! Oh and he still occasionally joins in the odd training class!
